In Search of Tomorrow’s Banking Leaders

It’s easy to identify the banking leaders of today – they already occupy the C-Suites – the CEO, CFO, CLO, CMO and CIO.  But who are the up-and-coming bankers, the top financiers for the next decade?  Who are the New Leaders in Banking?  One way to find out: they’re going to be at BankWorld.

The Connecticut Bankers Association and Connecticut Banking magazine are accepting nominations for the New Leaders In Banking honors.  This program recognizes the upcoming stars of the banking industry.  Nominations will close on Oct. 28, so please don’t wait to send in your nomination!  Winners will be chosen by an independent committee and will be notified by early November.  And then get ready for an evening of celebration, leading right up to the debut of the new BankWorld.  On Thursday evening, Jan. 12, 2012, we’ll be hosting a Gala Awards Banquet for the winners, their CEOs, and their supporters at each of their banks.  We’re expecting hundreds of attendees at the fabulous MGM Grand at Foxwoods for this exciting and innovative kick-off to BankWorld.

TO BE ELIGIBLE, ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET. AN INDIVIDUAL MUST:

• Work in a bank in Connecticut
• Be under the age of 50 at any time in 2011
• Be an outstanding employee, manager, or business leader
• Be making a notable impact on their institution, the banking industry, or within their community.
