Withdrawal Policy

CFT requires all students who enroll in courses to submit a registration form which states that they have read and understand the CFT withdrawal policy. Students who must withdraw from a course should submit a withdrawal letter to the CFT office along with a copy of their registration form. Banks may seek reimbursement from students who incur withdrawal charges. Tuition charges for student withdrawals are as follows:

No Charge if a withdrawal letter and a copy of the students registration form is received at the CFT office five business days prior to start date of class. These items may be faxed to the CFT office at 860-823-1410.

$25.00 Withdrawal Fee if a student withdraws after the registration deadline but prior to the first night of class. A withdrawal letter, a copy of their registration form, and the withdrawal fee, must be received at the CFT office before the first night of class. This fee applies to each course withdrawal.

100% Tuition Charged if a student withdraws after the first night of class. A withdrawal letter and a copy of their registration form must be sent to the CFT office in order for the student to receive a grade of "W" rather than a "F".

Academic Integrity

CFT strongly supports the concept of academic integrity and seeks to foster sound moral behavior in its students. Academic dishonesty can take many form, including cheating on examinations, plagiarism, aiding others to commit dishonest acts, etc. This activity will not be tolerated. Students engaging in academic dishonest are subject to immediate expulsion form the course and a failing grade. Notification regarding these actions will be made to the Human Resources Director of the student's employer.

Student Disclosure

I hereby agree that I have read the withdrawal policy and academic integrity statement contained on this web site, and fully understand their meaning. I authorize CFT to release my grades to the appropriate representative at my financial institution. I understand that if I fail to meet the tuition reimbursement requirements of my financial institution, I will be held personally responsible for tuition and fees to my financial institution and/or CFT, as well as any fees associated with the collection of these balances.
