Withdrawal Policy

A student who must withdraw from a online course must notify the Center for Financial Training of Southern New England (CFT) office via email or in writing. Refunds will be made (less $100 cancellation fee for 16 week courses, and book cost if the book is not returned unmarked or in new condition) for withdrawals received within 12 business days of the start of the course. A student who withdraws after 12 business days into the start of the course is not entitled to a refund, but must still notify the CFT ACS & ICBA office via email or writing to receive a grade of "W" rather than an "F".

A student who must withdraw from either of the Compliance College or NASD Exam Preparation on-line programs must notify the CFT ACS & ICBA office via e-mail or in writing. Refunds will be made, less a $50 cancellation fee for withdrawals received prior to the student starting the course. If a student withdraws from either of these programs after the course is started they will not be entitled to a refund.

Academic Integrity

CFT ACS & ICBA strongly supports the concept of academic integrity and seeks to foster sound moral behavior in its students. Academic dishonesty can take many form, including cheating on examinations, plagiarism, aiding others to commit dishonest acts, etc. This activity will not be tolerated. Students engaging in academic dishonest are subject to immediate expulsion form the course and a failing grade. Notification regarding these actions will be made to the Human Resources Director of the student's employer.

Student Disclosure

I hereby agree that I have read the withdrawal policy and academic integrity statement contained on this web site, and fully understand their meaning. I authorize CFT ACS & ICBA to release my grades to the appropriate representative at my financial institution. I understand that if I fail to meet the tuition reimbursement requirements of my financial institution, I will be held personally responsible for tuition and fees to my financial institution and/or CFT ACS & ICBA , as well as any fees associated with the collection of these balances.
