Individual Retirement Accounts Course

This newly revised course covers the changes prompted by The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 and the Re-proposed Required Minimum Distribution Regulations.  After successfully completing this training course, you will be able to:  describe the eligibility requirements and contribution limits for IRAs; understand the tax deductibility requirements of IRA contributions; identify the rollover contribution types and allowable distribution options; report the requirements for different types of IRAs; understand the tax consequences for premature distribution; compare the procedures, forms & disclosure requirements for opening different IRAs; and compare the advantages and disadvantages of each type of IRA.
