Leading in Turbulent Times Seminar

Situation:  Business leaders these days must both manage and lead–and that means inspiring staff to adapt to change and produce bottom-line results.  This practical, interactive communication boot camp focuses on everyday tools and techniques today’s bankers must have to succeed.

In this full-day communication boot camp, participants will: 

  • Discuss their personal values;
  • Identify their bank’s strategic intent and long-term goals;
  • Conduct a S.W.O.T analysis of their bank, i.e., strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats;
  • Share strategies for managing diverse employees–and serving diverse customers;
  • Create a leadership communication strategy that focuses on their bank’s strengths and opportunities to goals. 
  • Develop an ongoing, candid, two-way communication process between management and staff;
  • Share techniques for providing–and receiving–feedback;
  • Sharpen such communication skills as presenting to all key audiences and writing reports and memos;
  • Plan how to respond to public relations crises, e.g., bank closings, layoffs, hold-ups, mergers, etc. 

After this session participants will have strengthened their ability to:

  • Lead and manage with confidence, clarity and integrity;
  • Plan and execute strategies for success;
  • Communicate more effectively to all their audiences.
