On July 6, 2011 the Federal Reserve and FTC issued the final rules to implement the credit score disclosure requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act. This affects both REG V of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and REG B of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). The final rule is effective 30 days after publication in the Federal Register, which is expected soon!
The Feds have added two new REG V Risk Base Pricing Notices and issued changes to REG B’s Adverse Action Notices, C1-C5!
